I'm happy to offer this sealed kit for beginners. I believe this fanciful applique design is a 1950s remake of a Paragon pattern called "Horn of Plenty" from the 1930s.
This little kit, which makes a pillow or a picture, was intended to get women hooked on applique so they would try out the larger Paragon quilt kits. I have seen one of these completed "Horn of Plenty" Paragon applique quilts of the same general design. It's gorgeous! Please see the last photo of the completed quilt. Recall that the kit I'm selling only makes a pillow top, not a quilt.
Kit contains cream color percale, printed appliques, embroidery thread, wadding (acetate), easy to follow instructions and diagrams. Applique calico cottons are in yellow, red and green. Mustard and Red solids. Pillow form (and needle) not included.
Please take a look at the scans. Click on an image to enlarge.
There is a price tag from Abraham & Straus on the plastic packaging. Still sealed.
I do have other craft kits for sale; please take a look.
